PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES

  • Dates: September 23rd & 24th

  • Early Dismissal: Students are dismissed at 1:30 PM on both days to make plenty of time for conferences.

  • Sign-up Dates: Staring Monday, September 7th until Sunday, September 20th parents can sign up for their 15 minute time slot on their guardian myDSD account.

ATTENDANCE

NO need to call. Please excuse your student’s absences through your guardian myDSD account. Absences can be excused after your student has been marked absent and must be submitted within 3 days of the absence. Teachers would appreciate an email notice as well when possible. You can find teacher's emails on our website under our staff list. LINK

PICK UP AREAS

Parents, as you make after-school pick-up arrangements for your students, please be aware of the designated pick-up areas to help keep everyone safe and traffic flowing smoothly.

  • West Side -

(Carpool Pick-Up) This is our designated carpool area. Parents may drive through and have their student quickly enter the vehicle. Please do not have students walk through the parking lot to reach your car.

  • East Side - Parents can park in the church parking lot and wait for their students to come to them. We do have a cross guard to that parking lot entrance to ensure those walking home are safe when crossing.

  • Front of the school -

Parents may park along the street or in the parking lots east of the school and walk over to meet their student after the dismissal bell.

For student safety, crossing guards are stationed on the east side and east/north side of the school. Please encourage students to use the designated crosswalks and follow crossing guard directions and crossing times.

Students who live west of the school should not be crossing the street after school. Instead, they should use the west-side carpool area for pick-up or ride the bus home.

Thank you for helping us keep our students safe during dismissal each day!

Media Opt Out Form - LINK

We love sharing the amazing things our students are doing at school on our Facebook and Instagram pages. It's a great way to showcase all the COLT-TASTIC learning, achievements, and activities happening at Knowlton Elementary!

If you do not want your student included in photos or videos posted on our school social media accounts, please visit the school office to complete a Media Opt-Out Form. Please note that this form must be completed each school year.

Thank you for helping us keep our records up to date!

Knowlton Elementary Needs Subs!

We're looking for great adults to join our team as Classified Substitutes! We have opportunities to help with:

  • Recess supervision

  • Teacher assistants

  • Office support

  • Library support

If you know someone who enjoys working with kids and would be a great fit for our school community, please help us spread the word. We'd love to connect with them! Reach out to Diane Skeen at 801-402-5725.

Thank you for supporting our students and staff
